The River
03:57
|
|||
Fish know all rivers meet the sea
I saw a young one swim that way
His scales they shone so bright like money
He flicked his tail and swam away
Water has to flow
You know where to go
Small Fry, let’s try
You and I, we will fly
Down the mountainside
Catch the tide
Water has to flow
You know where to go
Small fry, let’s try
You and I, we’ll survive
Fish know all rivers meet the see
I saw a young one swim that way
His scales they shone, so bright like money
He flicked his tail and swam away
Water has to flow
You know where to go, old jack
Fight back
You and I, we will climb
Up the mountainside
Against the tide

Titles
04:09
|
|||
Inside blue walls
One bookshelf to the left
Weary eyes falls
On stories that we’ve kept
Titles, yours and mine
Trace them down each spine
Unfold my lifeline
Tiles, yours and mine
Outside you call
The door swings how I left it
I hide ‘til dawn
Is morning yet?
Titles, yours and mine
Trace them down each spine
Unfold my lifeline
Tiles, yours and mine
Inside blue walls
One bookshelf to the left
Weary eyes falls
On stories that we’ve kept

Cold Feet
04:01
|
|||
Lie in bed roll together, your feet touch mine
To reveal how I feel about us sometimes
Feel like death, catch your breath because soon you’ll find
I’m cold as ice
Ev’ry evenings the same and I’m late again
And you’re trusting that I’ve just been out with my friends
When I tell you that I think we’re nearing the end
I’m cold as ice
But you are so warm and kind
Melt me down tonight
Turn up the heat
Warm my cold feet
It all comes to a head and I turn a cheek
Even I don’t believe in the words that I speak
Strong chin didn’t win, but he won’t see me weak
Is this unwise?
But you are so warm and kind
Melt me down tonight
Turn up the heat
Warm my cold feet
In the dark, far apart and your heart hears mine
Small sound when my heart’s in my mouth all the time
All I can say now I’ll walk this line
Cold feet are mine

Standing Still
03:59
|
|||
Some people say
I drive fast, I drive fast
Some people say
It won't last, it won't last
Mirrors on my skin
Reflecting everything
Mirrors on my skin
How did this begin from
Standing still
Until
You're coming to meet me
Here still
The first, the last one to
See me, like this
Sometimes I say
Life's too fast, life's too fast
Go your own way
But that won't last
Why don't you try...
Standing still
Until
You're coming to meet me
Here still
The first, the last one to
See me, like this

Throw the Stone
03:19
|
|||
I have a stone inside
And it’s weighing me down, down
Weighing me down
Underneath the waves
(Weighing me down)
I hold cargo
And it’s weighing me down, down
Weighing me down
Underneath the waves
(Weighing me down)
I want to throw the stone
I want to cast it out
Ripples and rumours will spread and be gone in time
But who will be hurt when I let go of this heart of mine
I want to throw the stone
I want to cast it out
